From the Rumine Palace to the “cité”.

I’m lucky to discover that the Lausanne museums are free the first saturday of each month. But what is the day today ? Saturday July 3rd ! The Rumine Palace hide several museums, The Fine-Art museum, the Archeologic museum, the Geologic and the Zoologic. There is enough exhibition to cover an afternoon.

Then, as you can see the photographs, Lausanne Cathedral stand in the old city which contrasts with the rest. Medieval passages and stoned street guides us to a marvelous view of the Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) and the Alps.

I really love this city ! Between forest, lake and high mountains !
