After finishing the current projects, myVerbier, Cuendet and NA (guess who), I tried to pack my work for the RDB/5 Real Time ID. Yes the Logo factory has been renamed.
Then, Friday September 10th, I said goodbye to the entire team with a tear in the eye. Good bye RDB/5, good bye Lausanne. That was 3 wonderful month of work and entertainement.
I’ve learned lots of things thanks to Pascal and Stephane, I believe I’m ready to begin this new school year at Nevers with head full of crazy things !

Birthday at the office
Surprise ! Pascal and Nicolas brought a cute birthday cake to celebrate my 21-years ! Then we all went to La Brasserie du Château where I drank the first beer that I liked !!!! Amazing ! A great day ! Thanks everybody !

A great lunch with marketing men !
After an exciting Starcraft 2 LAN game with Pascal and Olivier, we ate at the same restaurant where Pascal taught me about freelance work and how to manage customers.
That evening, Olivier told us about the “Primal branding”, some films (Memento ) and Real Time Strategy games.
What is about “Primal branding” ( Book by Patrick Hanlon ) ? It all deals with create a brand as a religion. The first example which come in mind is Apple : a primal brand needs to define 7 points.

Managing brand in a religious way can federate all your internal teams and attract customer’s attention. You won’t have to convince them, they will be affected by your brand, and it will shine in people’s mind.

RDB/5 UI Pack
Here is the beginning of a long work !
Pascal and Luigi asked me to create a control pack which will contain all the web-controls to be used in a web-application. Windows, Sliders, Diaporamas, Carroussels, Form fields. I began to write this API in JavaScript using jQuery. Of course, Stephane and Romain are here to help me, especially Stephane with his great knowlegde of JavaScript.
The main goal of this UI Pack is to create Rich web application as easy as possible, it is a great work which will strengthen my Javascript skills ! I shall be more than ready for my diploma project… on the technical side.
Two-weeks holiday back in my family !
